New commandment

New Commandment Ministry is a working men’s ministry caring for widows, mature couples and single mothers. We meet on the 3rd Saturday of the month for fellowship and updates; times of service may vary depending on the needs of our care receivers. Work teams are comprised of 2 or more men whose purpose is to do the odd jobs around the house to make day to day living easier. No experience  necessary; come as you are.

Flushing Christian Outreach Center

Our Vision: To respond to the needs of the whole person with the goal of inviting them into a relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.

Our Mission: To respond to the needs of the whole person: physical, spiritual and emotional by providing food, clothing and connections to local existing ministries and available resources through a centralized volunteer-based center.

What can you expect?  When you call or visit the Flushing Christian Outreach Center, you will talk with one of our caring, trained volunteers who will help work with you to find answers for some of the struggles you are facing.

Food, clothing, and financial donations are humbly accepted to help our neighbors fight hunger.

A Stephen Minister is a member of our congregation who is trained to listen, care, encourage, pray and walk alongside you during difficult times. It’s confidential, free, and very helpful.

To learn more, talk with a pastor or Stephen Leader.
