Beyond Leftovers

Two truths about youth ministry:

1. Kids love to eat.

2. Adults have valuable talents   and insight that can greatly enrich the lives of our youth.

Put those two truths together and you get Beyond Leftovers, an intergenerational time of breaking bread and sharing a meal together.

In reading Acts 2, we learn that the early church knew the importance of breaking bread together. This is something that, unfortunately, is not as common in many  homes today.  Sadly, some kids don’t even know what it looks like to eat dinner together as a family. This program gives the youth the opportunity to eat dinner with an extended family, listen to the music of Soul’d Out, hear  a short message and break into small groups for some great conversation.

Beyond Leftovers occurs on a rotational schedule; check the youth calendar.
