World Religions

This course will spend 3-4 weeks studying 4 major non-christian world religions and 2 traditional christian religions:

• Buddhism
• Hinduism
• Islam
• Judaism
• Orthodox Christianity
• Roman Catholicism 

The focus of the course is to learn more about these religions in order to better relate to people of these faiths as our thinking becomes increasingly global in scope. The final week of each segment looks at Christianity and the similarities and differences within our faith. With these understandings, we are better equipped to engage in dialogue and share our faith in meaningful ways.
