    Matt holds a BME and MM from Central Michigan University, is a Diaconal Minister and has a Doctorate in Worship Studies from the Institute for Worship Studies in Orange Park, Florida.  He has been in music ministry for over 20 years, serving churches in Farwell, Fenton, Swartz Creek, Flint, and Clare.  Matt has been at Flushing UMC since 2006.  Matt’s family includes wife Kristi, daughter Janelle, and stepchildren Ellie, Abbie, and Matthew.
